WBA, GSMA to deploy Passpoint roaming at MWC

Wi-Fi industry association The Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) and mobile association GSMA will deploy Next Generation Hotspot (NGH) and the Wi-Fi Certified Passpoint system on the Wi-Fi network at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona, Spain from 2-5 March. The network based on the Wi-Fi Alliance Hotspot 2.0 specification, which will also be supported by the Wi-Fi Alliance, will allow attendees using Passpoint-enabled iOS and Android to automatically roam onto the network using secure credentials and benefiting from a secure Wi-Fi connection.
