Wearables, wireless headphones drive Swiss telecom market growth in 2019 - Gfk

The telecom hardware sector in Switzerland grew by 3.3 percent in 2019, driven in particular by high demand for wearables (+4%) and wireless headphones (+28%), according to Gfk. Sales of smartphones stagnated, but the premium segment grew strongly again. This trend should continue in 2020, the market researcher expects.
