West Europe tablet market slows decline to 2.9% in Q3

The decline in the tablet market in Western Europe slowed in the third quarter to a drop of 2.9 percent year-on-year, for total shipments of 7.5 million units in the third quarter, according to the latest figures from IDC. This included the first growth in the consumer slate segment since 2013, led by strong iPad sales, Amazon's Prime day sale and early promotions for Black Friday.
