WhatsApp adjusts forwarding rules to counter misinformation

WhatsApp has limited the number of times a user can forward a message to five, TechCrunch reported. The statement was made by Victoria Grand, the VP for policy and communications at WhatsApp, during an event In Jakarta, Indonesia. She said the move was performed to fight "misinformation and rumors."
