WhatsApp second most popular for World Cup chat in Brazil

Over half (57%) of social networkers in Brazil are using WhatsApp during the World Cup, more than any other service except for Facebook, reports GlobalWebIndex. Facebook is the most used social network (94%) for World Cup viewers in the US, the UK and Brazil, followed by Twitter with 59 percent, Google+ and Instagram. During the games, WhatsApp use is at 28 percent in the UK and 12 percent in the US.
