Willy.tel agrees access for free Wi-Fi in Hamburg

German operator Willy.tel has agreed a contract with the city of Hamburg to use public lights and parking terminals to deploy a free public Wi-Fi network. The agreement includes access to electricity network fixtures to power the network. Up to 750 access points are planned for the service first launched last year. Willy.tel is an ISP and fibre network operator in the Hamburg region.
