Wind Hellas to launch multiscreen TV service by year-end

Greek operator Wind Hellas has announced plans to launch its own TV service by the end of this year. The company has contracted Zappware to help develop the multi-screen service. Wind is the last of the major broadband providers in Greece to introduce its own TV service. It's using the NeXX 4.0 video platform from Zappware to develop a "simple, fun and personalised" TV service, for customers to use on any device. The Zappware platform includes video head-end infrastructure, cloud-based backend including the personalization capabilities, and the front-end client software for Android
