Windows Phone share falls to just 0.2% in Spain

Sales of Windows Phone handsets fell to their lowest ever share of the Spanish market in the three months to May 2016, accounting for just 0.2 percent of smartphones sold, according to the latest data from Kantar WorldPanel ComTech. The figure is 2.2 percentage points down on the year-earlier share of 2.4 percent and remains well below the market share reached by Windows Phone-powered smartphones in neighbouring European countries such as France (11.1 percent) and Italy (13.9 percent).
