Worldwide IT spend to reach USD 4.5 tln in 2022 - study

Global IT spending is set to reach USD 4.5 trillion next year, up 5.5 per cent from 2021, according to the latest report from Gartner. The growth will be driven by the enterprise software market, where sales are expected to increase by 11.5 percent to USD 670 billion in 2022 thanks mainly to higher spending on infrastructure software.
