Wow! improves net profit, adds subscribers in Q2

US cable operator Wow! announced a strong improvement in second-quarter net profit to USD 25 million from USD 5 million, helped by lower taxes and interest expenses. Revenues still fell 2.1 percent year-on-year to USD 291 million, and adjusted EBITDA dropped to USD 102 million from USD 112 million.
