Wow improves profit line despite hit from Hurricane Irma

Tuesday 14 November 2017 | 13:14 CET | News
US operator WideOpenWest (Wow!) said revenues for the third quarter fell 4.3 percent from the year before to USD 297.8 million, while the net loss improved to USD 2.1 million from a loss the year earlier of 20.3 million. The total number of subscribers increased to 776,400 from 769,700 the year before, but was off from the 776,500 recorded in the second quarter, reflecting continued aggressive competition in the market and the impact of Hurricane Irma in the southeast markets.
