Wow! revenues dip 4% lower to USD 1.18 bln in 2017

US cable operator Wow! US cable operator Wow! said full year revenues went 4 percent lower to USD 1.18 billion. The net profit jumped to USD 159.5 million from 26.3 million, helped by the sale of part of its Chicago fibre network and of its Lawrence, Kansas, system. There was also a positive impact from the recent tax changes in the US, though Wow! did not specify the exact amount of the one-off gain. The adjusted EBITDA meanwhile slipped 1 percent to USD 437.1 million. Capex reached USD 301.3 million, up almost 14 percent from the year earlier.
