Xiaomi has shipped over 100 mln smartphones in India over past 5 years

Xiaomi said it has shipped over 100 million smartphones in India since it started operating in the country five years ago, TechCrunch reported. The company used data from IDC to back its claim. Bestseller phones in India include budget smartphones Redmi and Redmi Note, Xiaomi said, adding that it never makes more than 5 percent profit on any hardware product it sells.
