Xiaomi launches Mi3 in Taiwan through FET, Chunghwa

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched the Mi3 in Taiwan and added another distribution partner in the country. The company has sold its Mi2S in and Hongmi phones through Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) in Taiwan, and will now sell the Mi3 through FET and Chunghwa Telecom from 5 March. The phone is priced at TWD 9,999 for a 16 GB model without a contract, CNA reports. Xiaomi's Taiwanese website will begin selling the phone from 26 February and the company also plans to sell the Mi3 in Singapore from 7 March. In Taiwan, the first batch will comprise 10,000 units.
