Xiaomi to enter Indian handset market soon

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi plans to enter the Indian market with local smartphone maker Micromax. The Want China Times writes that Hugo Barra, vice president for Xiaomi's global division, has said the company will enter India soon with an aggressive pricing strategy. Phones would be sold in India "almost close to cost". Xiaomi's rivals Oppo and Gionee entered the Indian market last year.
