XL Axiata adds 1.5 mln subscribers in Q1

Indonesian operator XL Axiata saw its first-quarter service revenue slightly increase by 0.3 percent quarter-on-quarter, driven by a 9 percent sequential growth in data revenue, which contributed 63 percent to XL Axiata's service revenues. First-quarter EBITDA also increased by 1.4 percent quarter-on-quarter, while margins rose to 35 percent. XL Axiata also posted a net profit of IDR 46 billion for the quarter ended 31 March.
