Yahoo buys social media visualisation specialist

Yahoo has acquired Vizify, a social media visualisation specialist set up in 2011. No financial details were released. Vizify hints at a future where it will help Yahoo visualise its data but for the moment, the company will be shut down, no more signups will be accepted and paying customers will be refunded. TechCrunch noted that Vizify raised USD 1.46 million since its launch.
