Yahoo may launch own TV streaming device - report

Yahoo is considering launching its own TV streaming device, an industry source told Light Reading. The device similar to Google's Chromecast or Roku products "would plug into your television and allow you to seamlessly stream your favorite shows and movies from your phone for a shared viewing experience." Working with a mobile app, the device would automatically detect streaming services and present a programme guide with unified search capabilities and mood-based browsing.
