Yapital launches in Wasgau supermarkets in Germany

European cross-channel payment platform Yapital partnered German retailer Wasgau to enable customers pay with their smartphones at approximately 200 checkouts in Wasgau supermarkets. Consumers can use the Yapital app on the smartphone to scan a QR code displayed on the card terminal, and confirm the purchase amount with a single click. More than 50 of the approximately 90 Wasgau stores now offer payment by smartphone, while the rest will follow shortly.
