Yapital launches payment app at Total petrol stations

Thursday 15 January 2015 | 11:03 CET | News
European cross-channel payment platform Yapital has partnered Total to enable customers to pay with their smartphones at the 1,100 Total petrol stations across Germany. The roll-out is planned to be completed during the summer. From then on, customers will be able to pay with their smartphone; they will have to scan a QR code from the payment terminal using the app and confirm the amount shown on the app. The mobile payment service by Yapital works independently of the mobile operating system or network. Users can track their spending on the app as transactions are immediately listed.
