Yoigo to offer 4G to Open Cable, pending CNMC approval

Spanish mobile operator Yoigo has signed an agreement to provide mobile network services, including 4G services, to Open Cable Telecomunicaciones, which groups together 47 local cable operators in Spain. However, Open Cable sources told Europa Press that they are still waiting for Spain's telecoms regulator CNMC to allow Yoigo to offer 4G wholesale services to MVNOs, following the conflict with Telefonica over Yoigo's deal with Pepephone.
