Yota offers Sims delivery by drones in Moscow

Russian LTE MVNO Yota, a subsidiary of mobile operator Megafon, will deliver Sims purchased in Moscow via drones, reports Tdaily.ru. The service has been launched in cooperation with Copter Express. The Sims will be delivered to certain restricted Yotaport areas within the city only: in Sokolniki and Museon parks, Strelka Institute and the Technology Museum. The service is free for users. It will cost RUB 400 for the operator. Yota expects to deliver up to 700 Sims per day in this way, depending on the weather. The promotion will last for a month.
