Yota has unveiled the YotaPhone 3 at the Russian embassy in China. The dual-Sim Android phone with front and back screens will launch first in China, from mid-September, before launching in Yota's home market Russia. In Asia markets it will be called Yota3.

The phone comes with a 5.5-inch Samsung Super Amoled screen on the front and a 5.2-inch E-ink screen on the back. Compared to the previous generation, the RAM doubled to 4 GB, and the battery capacity was increased to 3,300 mAh.

Yota plans to target customers interested in e-books with the new phone. In China, it's reached agreements with e-book portals such as Migu to pre-install access and libraries on the phone. Its main distribution partners in China are e-commerce portal JD and Aisidi, and the company aims to sell over 1 million of the phones to develop the new market.

The company Rostekh plans to start selling the YotaPhone 3 smartphone in Russia by the end of the year, reports Tdaily.ru. The device will cost around USD 350 for 64 or USD 450 for 128 GB.
