YouSee refers suspected TV service sabotage to police

Friday 6 January 2017 | 12:11 CET | News
Danish operator TDC's retail customer arm YouSee said it is referring a serious loss of TV transmission on New Year Eve to the police. It said more than 1 million customer were affected by the technical fault on 31 December 2016, and services were fully restored on 01 January 2017. A thorough investigation involving external experts found that loss of service involved detailed knowledge of YouSee's set-up and television platform, apparently pointing to deliberate sabotage.
