Danish operator TDC's YouSee subsidiary said it will offer customers the option of standalone broadband for the first time from the first quarter of 2016, instead of combining it with television service provision. It said this will give 400,000 more homes the option of becoming YouSee broadband customers. It said it is already Denmark's largest provider of broadband to retail customers, with a base of 435,000 users, or a 40 percent market share. It says its average internet speed of 70 Mbps is the fastest in the country.
