YouSee to start deploying Docsis 3.1 in 2016

Friday 28 August 2015 | 11:45 CET | News
Danish operator TDC said it will start deploying Docsis 3.1 technology in 2016 to provide 1.3 million homes connected to its YouSee subsidiary's coaxial network with broadband at up to 1,000 Mbps. This compares with the current national residential average of 30 Mbps. The upgrade is due for completion by the end of 2017. YouSee will probably be the first cable operator in Europe to roll out Docsis 3.1 throughout its entire coaxial network, TDC said.
