YouSee to switch off analogue TV in February 2016

Friday 21 August 2015 | 11:48 CET | News
TDC subsidiary YouSee said it will switch off analogue television signals on 09 February 2016, and customers with older types of TV set should find a new way of getting reception. The change aims to create more room in the cable network for faster broadband and ensure there is sufficient capacity for streaming requirements. The state switched off analogue TV via aerials in 2009 but YouSee decided at the time to continue offering analogue via cable as an extra service for customers with traditional sets.
