Wednesday 15 May 2019 | 17:27 CET | News

YouTube Music has started in the Czech Republic, reported Mobilenet.cz. YouTube Music with ads can be used free of charge and YouTube Music Premium, without ads and available also offline, costs CZK 149 per month. The service YouTube Premium extends the benefits of YouTube Music Premium to the whole content of YouTube.

In addition to making personal recommendations for music, YouTube Music offers advanced machine learning search to find the desired song, even if the user has forgotten the title and artist or even overheard it. The legacy of the YouTube video platform is reflected in the large number of video clips that can be easily switched to audio at any time during the song.

YouTube Music Premium costs CZK 149 a month. For CZK 229 a month it can be shared by up to six family members as part of the YouTube Music Family Plan.

The YouTube Premium service, which extends YouTube Music Premium benefits to all YouTube content, was launched in the Czech Republic on 14 May. This allows users to listen with the app in the background, download videos, and watch the entire YouTube platform without advertising, not just music. It will also make YouTube Originals programmes and movies available.

YouTube Premium costs CZK 179 per month and can be shared with up to six family members for CZK 269 per month under the YouTube Premium Family Plan. The app is available for both Android and iOS.
