YTL, Red Hat roll out cloud learning platform to schools

Malaysian Wimax provider YTL Communications and Red Hat have completed their cloud platform for the 1BestariNet project six months ahead of schedule. The cloud platform was also completed within budget. The partners deployed virtual learning environments for 10,000 schools, The Star Online writes. Last year, the Malaysian government selected YTL Communications to roll out internet access and an e-learning platform to some 10,000 schools.
