Zantel aims to boost number of women on Ezypesa

Tanzania's operator Zantel has announced a commitment to economically empower women through mobile financial services, Daily News reported from a forum. Zantel's Chief Executive Officer, Benoit Janin, said by closing the mobile gender gap will create economic opportunities for women. Zantel aims to expand the rate of women actively using Ezypesa from the current 27 percent to 40 percent by 2020.
