Zantel launches 4G data services in Zanzibar

Tanzanian operator Zantel has officially launched its 4G technology in Zanzibar. Zantel recorded 320,483 new SIM cards during the last quarter of 2015, bringing its total number of its subscribers to 1.84 million, according to figures from the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA), The Citizen reported.
