Ziggo Q4 sales down 3.8%, loses 51,300 customers

Dutch cable operator Ziggo lost 51,900 revenue-generating units in the fourth quarter, due to losses in TV and telephony customers. The total number of customers fell by 51,300 in the three months to 4.09 million. On average, each customer took 2.38 services from Ziggo, and 60.6 percent of customers were on triple-play plans. The company also added 5,900 mobile subscribers in the quarter, for a total 186,800. Ziggo's revenues were down 3.8 percent to EUR 614 million, while operating cash flow rose 4.6 percent to EUR 358 million. The operating result was a profit of EUR 27 million versus a
