Zimbabwe receives USD 400,000 from ITU to counter cyber threats

Zimbabwe has received USD 400 000 from the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) to establish a computer research team that will respond to cyber threats, reports Zimtech reported. Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) deputy director general Alfred Marisa said at the Africa Regional Group Meeting in Victoria Falls that Zimbabwe still has a lot of work to do in terms of cyber crime protection.
