Zimbabwe telecom revenue fall 11% to USD 237.7 mln

The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (POTRAZ) said telecom revenues declined by 11 percent to USD 237.7 million in the first quarter, reports The Source. Potraz said the sector has not been spared the effects of diminishing consumer spending power in the economy, with revenue and investment declining across all subsectors. Zimbabwe has three mobile operators, namely Econet Wireless, NetOne and Telecel, as well as fixed line operator TelOne.
