Zimbabwean mobile money deposits drop 10 percent in Q3

Total deposits on Zimbabwe's mobile money platforms slumped by 10.5 percent in the third quarter of 2015 to USD 458 million from USD 512 million in the prior quarter, said the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz). The Daily News reported that the number of mobile money subscribers increased 7.1 percent to 6.7 million in the third quarter from 6.2 million in the second.
