Zimbabwean mobile phone revenue up 194% in Q3

Zimbabwean mobile network operators' revenue increased by 194 percent to USD 8.9 billion in the third quarter to 30 September from USD 3 billion in the previous quarter, according to the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ). Its report shows operating costs rose during the period under review as the sector was not spared from inflationary pressures affecting the economy.
