ZTE, BSNL strike 5G, IoT partnership deal in India

ZTE has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the areas of 5G and Internet of Things (IoT) with Indian state-owned operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). Under the terms of this agreement, BSNL and ZTE will jointly evaluate and verify key technologies such as Pre5G, 5G wireless systems, virtualized network architectures, as well as the construction of 5G ecosystems, for the purpose of research and commercialization in India.
