ZTE inaugurates first European cybersecurity lab in Rome

The Italian subsidiary of China's ZTE has inaugurated the company's first European cybersecurity laboratory in Rome at an event attended by the country's defence undersecretary Angelo Tofalo. ZTE said the cybersecurity lab aims to provide global customers, regulators and other stakeholders with security assessment and audit services, such as source code review on ZTE products including 4G and 5G, security design audit, procedural document review, black box testing and penetration testing. Last week ZTE launched its inaugural cybersecurity lab in Nanjing, China.
