ZTE joins OpenFog Consortium

ZTE joined the OpenFog Consortium and said it is the first major Chinese telecom infrastructure company to do so. This is an organisation of high tech industry companies and academic institutions whose aim is the standardisation and promotion of fog computing in various capacities and fields to help solve interoperability challenges in communication, wireless, and 5G technologies. Fog computing technology is a critical component of 5G application frameworks and ultra low latency applications.
