ZTE launches G717C smartphone with China Telecom

ZTE and China Telecom have launched the ZTE G717C smartphone, Digitimes reports. The Android-based smartphone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 5-inch 720p touch screen, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera. The device also supports TD-LTE, LTE FDD, CDMA 2000 and GSM, and will be available for sale at a contract-free price of CNY1,599. ZTE expects to ship 60 million smartphones globally this year.
