ZTE opens new centre in Tokyo for 5G development

ZTE has opened a new Research and Development Center in Tokyo which will focus on the development of 5G and other next-generation network technologies. The new centre will support ZTE's partnerships with operators and academic institutions in Japan towards the deployment of ZTE's Pre5G technology and ongoing research on 4G and 5G mobile communications. ZTE now operates 20 R&D centres in Asia, North America and Europe.The latest opening is in line with ZTE's strategy to become a global leader in the developments of next-generation network technology.
