ZTE secures LTE test licences in Poitiers

ZTE secured a temporary licence in December 2010 to use the 800 MHz band to test LTE services at the Futuroscope theme park in Poitiers, France. Silicon.fr reports that this follows the company obtaining a licence last September to use the 2.6 GHz band for the same purpose. ZTE France director Daniel Bessieres explained that the company would use the licences to demonstrate its products to French operators.
