ZTE to boost market share in Europe

Chinese equipment maker ZTE plans to increase its market share in Europe. Last year, ZTE's overseas revenues neared CNY 47 billion, amounting to 54.2 percent of total revenues. The European and North American market grew the most last year at 42.2 percent year-on-year to CNY 20.45 billion. "Since European-based telecom carriers combined occupy more than half of the world's telecom network market, ZTE will benefit in the short and long run from cooperation with those multinational operators," Dai Shu, ZTE's director of corporate branding and communications told China Daily.
