Zuckerberg pledges USD 3 bln to eradicate all disease

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan have unveiled the new focus for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative: curing all disease by the end of the century. The couple will give USD 3 billion to help scientists achieve the goal. Zuckerberg noted that the science initiative will be a long term effort, with more investments foreseen over the decades.
