On 15 December 2009 KPN presented the evaluation of the FTTx trials it has been conducting since 2008. The results were translated into investment plans and targets for the period through to 2012. In this brief, which is a follow-up to our previous Research Brief ('Considering KPN's upcoming FTTx Roadmap decision'), we present a detailed digest of KPN's plans and targets, enhanced with our commentary. We draw on the official documents, related to the statement, as well as a conversation we had with Baptiest Coopmans, member of the Board and responsible for the Consumer market. Our conclusion: there is a full commitment to FTTH, held back only by KPN's focus on shareholder remuneration and IT issues
