This chart shows where consumers bought their most-used tablet(s), and if it was either a gift or own purchase. The question asked was: "Where did you buy your most-used tablet, and which version did you buy?". The question was sub-divided into three options: 3G tablet without subscription, Wi-Fi tablet without subscription and tablet with subscription. The possible answers to this question were: I bought it in a store, I bought it on the internet (new), I bought it on the internet (used), I bought it over the phone, I bought through the post, I received it as a gift from my employer, I received it as a gift from friends or family, and other. The results are shown for the total market. Source: Telecompaper Consumer Panel. Results are CBS stratified for gender and age (15-65). The survey data is from June 2012 (n=846).
