Smartphones and tablets are no longer just for young people or business users; the mobile devices are increasingly popular across the entire population. To understand better the growing adoption of these devices, Telecompaper is introducing TP:Basics, concise quarterly overviews of smartphone and tablet ownership in the Netherlands.

This edition reveals that 86 percent of all Dutch consumers had smartphones in 2016 Q1, it also looks at differences between:

  • Gender
  • Age
  • Education level

The insightful data is targeted at businesses and organisations selling smartphones and tablets, developing apps or using mobile devices to keep in touch with customers. TP:Basics will be published twice per quarter, once on smartphones and once on tablets.
