French state sells EUR 1 bln in Orange shares
The French state has sold some of its shares in Orange, equal to a 2.5 percent stake in the company. Public investment bank Bpifrance said it divested 66.5 million Orange shares via a secondary share sale, at a price of EUR 16.57 per share, to raise a total EUR 1.1 billion. This reduces the government's stake, held via Bpifrance and the shareholdings agency APE, to 20.4 percent of capital and 27.0 percent of the voting rights.

Apple reported record results for its fiscal third quarter to June, with sales up 16 percent year-on-year to USD 109.4 billion. The company realised double-digit growth across iPhone, Mac and services revenues, and in every geographic segment. It also got a boost from US trade tariff refunds, leading to a 27 percent increase in net profit to USD 29.8 billion. Datagrid New Zealand has signed a supply and installation contract with Alcatel Submarine Networks (ASN) and OMS Group (OMS) for the Tasman Ring Network, an optical submarine cable system connecting Invercargill in New Zealand's South Island with Melbourne, Australia. Vantiva eyes H2 recovery after 15% sales decline in January-June
Vantiva has indicated it expects customer demand to recover in the second half of FY26, after struggling to overcome supply chain volatility caused by memory component shortages in January to June. First-half revenues of EUR 734 million were 14.7 percent lower year-on-year, and also fell 8.9 percent in organic currency terms. That sales dip matches a nominal contraction of around 14 percent in Q1.

Lifecell leads number porting gains in H1
A total of 334,341 telephone numbers were transferred to other networks using mobile number porting in Ukraine in the first half of this year, according to regulator NKEK. That includes 215,725 numbers, or 64.5 percent, transferred to the Lifecell network. Lifecell has attracted the most numbers since the introduction of the MNP service in Ukraine in 2019.
