South Western Railway launches trial of Starlink-powered WiFi service
South Western Railway (SWR), which runs between London and the south of England, has launched a new trial of high-speed WiFi connectivity powered by satellite technology. The faster, stronger WiFi will be available for passengers travelling on Class 444 train between London Waterloo, Portsmouth and Weymouth. Emitel wins data services contract at Polish Air Navigation Services Agency
Polish operator Emitel has won a tender at the Air Navigation Services Agency, which provides air traffic management in the country. The operator will provide data services to six agency sites under the deal worth PLN 5.3 million (VAT included). Emitel submitted the only bid, and the contract runs for 96 months.
