Telenor said it has agreed to acquire Enivest, a fibre operator in Western Norway, in a transaction valued at NOK 2.5 billion. The acquisition includes Enivest's fibre network and approximately 28,000 customers, as well as a 34 percent stake in Ardalsnett, which has around 3,000 customers. Telenor CEO Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer said Enivest is a well-run company with a strong local presence and fits well with Telenor's long-term strategy.
